Birthday Parties...

The packages run for 2 hours and are complete party packages, as Illusions For Kids will do everything for you. All you need to do is feed the children and hand them their coats on the way out! With all of the packages a big theatre style backdrop is supplied to make the room you are using look just like a theatre. There is also a large music system supplied to give the event a disco feel.

The team will arrive an hour before the event and have everything set up before the event starts. The disco is set up as the children arrive which means that there is a party like atmosphere right from the first second. As standard the latest music is brought along and if children request specific tracks they can usually oblige.

As soon as all the children have arrived the show starts. All shows have three performers. Together they offer a number of shows, some of which are themed. However ALL of the shows use large custom designed illusions to create a Las Vegas Style show just for you and your guests. Shows can run anything from 30 minutes to 60 minutes and are jam packed with audience interaction. The birthday child is made to feel VERY special. This can be anything from magically producing the birthday child at the beginning of the show to floating the birthday child on a flying carpet. In addition, at every show the birthday child is given their own magic set to keep forever.

After the show has finished the party food can be announced for you and whilst you are feeding the children the disco music is put back on. Anna will then start balloon modelling and continue through to the end of the party. Anna is one of the best balloon modellers in the country and is actually a resident balloon modeller for Frankie & Benny's restaurants. Unlike traditional parties where the magician rushes through the balloons, by having one performer focus on balloons at our parties, it means all the children will get a special balloon. Having said that the birthday child will always get an extra special balloon.

As soon as all the children have finished eating everyone is gathered around to sing 'happy birthday' to the birthday child. After this, all the way through to the end of the party, Craig and Russ will play party games with all the children. They play action dances, dance competitions, and high-energy games, all of which are played to music. All of the prizes for the games are supplied and they are structured so that there are no elimination games. In other words all the children are involved in the games all of the way through. Because both Craig and Russ play the games together, the whole games session has a Butlin's Redcoat style feel to it. In fact years ago Craig used to be a Redcoat at Butlins in Skegness!
