Hogweeds School of Wizardry...

When children get to a certain age they don't just want to watch magic, they want to learn how to perform magic as well. Did you know that Learning magic improves confidence, raises self esteem and increases communication skills?

The Hogwarts School of Magic themed package has been specifically created to not only entertain children but teach them magic as well. It is themed to the world famous 'Harry Potter' series of books and the team arrive in character as Professor Grumble and his two prefects. The children take on the role of a class of students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. They are divided up into 3 groups - Griffindor, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw.

The show starts with a 30 minute comedy illusion show with Professor Grumble and both prefects demonstrating the different magic spells one needs to learn to be considered a true wizard. All of these spells are taken directly from the Harry Potter universe which means if your child is a fan of the books and films they will have a chance to see the magic they have only read about happen right in front of their eyes.

Once the show has finished the team start a 90 minute magic workshop. The children are taught two types of magic - Impromptu and Special Props. Impromptu magic can be done anytime and anywhere, for example it might be taught how to make a coin disappear. Once learnt the children will able to perform this trick no matter where they are.

The other type of magic taught requires special props to perform. For example they might be taught a card trick which requires a special pack of cards. The best part is that EVERY child receives all the necessary props required to perform ALL the tricks that they have been taught. This means that everyone goes home with lots of magic tricks that they can use straight away.

At the end of the session prizes are awarded to the winning house group in the class.
